Who we are

SpeedSite is an independent web design and development business based in London, United Kingdom. We design, build, host and maintain websites and software. For anything related to this policy or your data, contact us via WhatsApp or the contact form.

What we collect and why

• Contact form. When you send us a message we collect your name, email address and anything you write in your message. We use this to reply to your enquiry and for no other purpose. Form submissions are processed by Formspree, who act as our data processor.
• Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
• WhatsApp. If you contact us on WhatsApp, your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Cookies

We only set analytics cookies, and only after you accept them via the consent banner. Declining does not affect your use of the site. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings, which will make the consent banner reappear.

Legal basis

We process contact enquiries on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your request) and analytics data on the basis of consent, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

How long we keep data

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors named above (Formspree, Google Analytics) as needed to run the site, and where required by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent for analytics at any time. To exercise any of these rights, just get in touch. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
